Itinerary

Day 1: Brisbane to Miriam Vale

Journey on the Tilt Train this morning to Miriam Vale. Relax and take in the panoramic views of Queensland’s changing landscape. Transfer to your accommodation and enjoy three nights at 1770 Lagoons Central Resort and Spa with breakfast included.

Day 2: Town of 1770

Explore the National Parks and waterways bordering the picturesque Town of 1770 on an amphibious craft, the LARC!  Visit the Bustard Head Lighthouse and take a guided tour of the lightkeeper’s cottage museum and restored engine room. End the day sandboarding down 35 metre sand dunes at Middle Island. Lunch is included.

Day 3: Town of 1770

Spend the morning exploring the Town of 1770 on a guided tour. Wander through the paperbark forest walk, visit the Agnes Water museum and learn about the unique history.  Take a bushwalk up to the scenic lookout and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding beaches.

Day 4: Miriam Vale to Brisbane (B)

Transfer to Miriam Vale Railway Station for the Tilt Train journey back to Brisbane.

^ Price is per person twin share and is valid for travel from 1 April to 17 December 2022 and 11 January 2023 to 31 March 2023 and includes a Bustard Head Light Station Association management fee of $9 per person.  Price does not include a Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service entry fee of $2 per person to be paid directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour by you. *Prices are a guide only, subject to change and availability and are in Australian Dollars. From prices for rail packages are per person per package twin share, unless otherwise specified and based on the lowest room category for travel in low season. Prices for travel in peak seasons available on application. Sole use prices also available.
