Queensland Rail Travel offers Australia’s most comprehensive network, with five long-distance services and two tourist trains. Whether
you’re visiting friends and family, enjoying a holiday or travelling for work or school, a rail journey is a great way to travel and connect to
regional Queensland.

Step aboard and travel in comfort to a range of destinations across the Sunshine State. Travel along the Queensland coast between Brisbane and Cairns or west to Charleville, Longreach and Mount Isa. In Far North Queensland, you can travel on two iconic rail journeys – Kuranda Scenic Railway from Cairns and in the vast Gulf Savannah region, the legendary Gulflander.
