Moving between the platform and the train

The height between the station platform and train entry varies:

  • The Tilt Train and Spirit of Queensland require a 19 cm step up from the platform.
  • The Spirit of the Outback requires a 26 cm step up from the platform.

Access between the platform and the train is available using a ramp subject to safe operating conditions being followed. Before you travel, please contact our reservations team to share your boarding and travel requirements. You can also share travel requirements when making an online booking.
